Happy first week of work in the New Year.
While I know there is a lot of energy surrounding vision boards, goal setting, New Year's resolutions, and the like, I am someone who only makes declarations on my birthday.
Jan 1, 2026, didn't reset a clock; it just continued the year of version 4.5 that started back in September.
Here's why I do this. On my birthday its a personal new year, its a time of reflection for me on all that I've done and accomplished the year before. My life's journey is valued and reflecting on my birthday is a much more positive experience than joining in the frantic energy of "New Year, New Me."
